HEADED TO HIGH POINT MARKET
As I head to High Point Market, into a world of new furniture and accessories, I start to look forward to the amazing new designs I will come across. The opportunity to access brand new design talent, get inspired and pick up on new trends is what its all about. I would like to give a big thank you to my sponsors this market: Lexington, Taylor Burke and the new to market Ambella Home. I am Southbound for the next few days, so stay tuned for my market finds on my Instagram at @stylebeatblog, many of which I will be sharing as I walk the show. I will also be creating a trend report based on my coverage. If you are interested in learning more about it, let me know by leaving me a message here. In the meantime, here are a few exciting previews that I will get to see in person tomorrow:
Bungalow 5's Pamela Desk with crystal pulls has painted details and bamboo accents. Just my kind of desk!
On the heels of her Henredon collection, Celerie Kemble is launching outdoor furniture with LaneVenture. I am looking forward to seeing the assortment, and remember how fun it was when her mom Mimi McMakin and founding partner Brooke Huttig launched years ago- it made quite a colorful Palm Beachy splash. She is also debuting painted wood floor tiles with Charleston-based Mirth Studio.
One of my sponsors this market (thank you!), Taylor Burke will be introducing new pieces in vivid colors. I am loving this clean-lined zebra covered brass coffee table called The Kelly.
Seeing bold color take hold in all areas, from accessories to art, it is exciting to embrace the power of brights. New this market, Ambella Home, another one of my kind sponsors, is debuting their architectural Pediment Mirror in the most amazing shade of orange.
The upholstered leg is making a comeback. With clean lines, high sides and comfortable back and bolster pillows, Gabby's custom Nova Sofa is perfect for apartment dwellers that want tailoring and comfort.
