The "It" designer for some time, the young and spectacularly talented French interior designer Jean-Louis Deniot, is having his moment in the spotlight, with the fall debut of his new Rizzoli book written by Diane Dorrans Saeks and a furniture line with George Smith.  His dramatic, high style interiors are glamorous and tailored, colorful and interesting, and he subscribes to the more is more theory of decorating, with a refined eye. This September, the Parisian designer launched a nine-piece collection of upholstered furniture with George Smith, the British furniture company. Sinewy and curvaceous, the lines of the sofas and chairs are streamlined,  feminine and modern. Influenced by Neoclassicism, the collection, with playfully applied textiles,  is sleek and restrained, and would look at home in a boutique hotel lobby or a cozy library. It signals a new direction for the classic British furniture maker, and not only does it champions a more modern aesthetic, but the brand went outside England to seek designer talent.
