SET YOUR TABLE WITH SISTER PARISH PATTERNS

I love prints, especially when they have a bit of iconic design history behind them. The charming prints designed by the late, great American interior designer Sister Parish have been made into decorative accessories and entertaining pieces, thanks to her granddaughter, Susan Crater. Since 2010, Crater and her daughter Eliza carry on Parish's love of American craft with Sister Parish Designs and their printed fabrics and wallpapers. They have recently debuted an American-made ceramic tabletop collection created by Eigen Arts Studios, taking their most iconic patterns and translating them onto decorative items, they exude the same charm and warmth as the textiles. Made of hand glazed earthenware, the pieces, inspired by those found at Parish's Islesboro, Maine home, The Summer House, bring color and a dash of whimsy to the table, while also making for a nice hostess or house gift. Small vases provide the ideal setting for summer wildflowers, platters can handle barbecued chicken, and a footed bowl keeps fruit within reach. If your summer getaway doesn't take you to the stunning rocky coast of Maine, then sweet designs can transport you there in your mind.

Serving platters, available in small or large sizes come in the Serendipity  Burmese, and Dolly patterns

Few things say summer more than a pitcher of fresh brewed iced tea, so it's a good thing the pitchers come in three different sizes. The large Serendipity in red has such zip to it.

Flowers are one of things to look forward to whether you are in the city or country. Peony time is now, so large or small, there is a vase that will suit a single stem or full arrangement.

Also available in the array of prints, the footed bowl would be right at home on a kitchen island, filled with ripe peaches and plums.

The Burmese print in green looks so fresh, and is also available in the other patterns shown above
