SET THE TABLE WITH SPLATTERWARE TABLETOP FROM HAWKINS NEW YORK

As trends go, painterly artful brushstroke inspired designs and splatter motifs have been resonating for a few years now. For those that love splatterware for its surface pattern but not the enamel tin material it is traditionally made with, Hawkins New York holds the answer. This edgy warm-modern design company recently debuted a line of stoneware called Jackson. Made in Portugal, the splatter design is inspired by, yes, you guessed it, Jackson Pollock, the father of the American Abstract Expressionist movement. Covered in yellow or blue dots with grey added for variety, these hand-painted designs are wonderful for their simplicity and visual punch.
