Timothy Whealon's interiors send me. I am so excited he has a book coming out, because there is an ethereal beauty to the elegant spaces he creates, and I want to see all of his work together in one place. He has an amazing eye for fine antiques and uses subtle details and soft colors in a modern way that ties a room together. Pursuit of Beauty: The Interiors of Timothy Whealon is out September 29th

Husband and wife design duo Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller of Carrier and Company create tailored rooms that have an unexpected mix of modern and classic elements. They understand proportion, and how to create moments that guide the eye around a room with interest. I always enjoy catching up with the thoughtful duo when I see them at design events, and they are low key and calm, just like the work they design. I am so pleased their career is being celebrated in this way, Carrier and Company Positively Chic Interiors, with a forward by Anna Wintour is going to be an enjoyable read.  It drops September 22nd.

If anyone gets color and how to mix antique vintage and new together, its Eddie Ross. We go way back to working together at House Beautiful Magazine. His insatiable appetite for flea market finds and old world interiors converge in his new book with Jaithan Kochar, Modern Mix Curating Personal Style with Chic and Accessible Finds. I know I am going to cover all of his vintage scores....

Southern interior designer and the owner of Atlanta and Florida design stores Mrs. Howard and Max and Co, Phoebe Howard creates pretty, livable interiors that have a calming quality to them. Maybe its her adept way of working with a singular color, or maybe its her mix of interesting pieces that are tied together by solids, patterns and textures.  Her second book is out now, and is called Mrs. Howard Room by Room: The Essentials of Decorating with Southern Style. Pick it up for ideas on how to put a room together that has balance and charm with a mix of antiques and reproductions.
