THE PAVILLION TENT COMPANY: TRADITIONALLY CRAFTED INDIAN TENTS FOR YOUR BOHEMIAN SIDE

Since 2006, Juliet Teakle has been bringing traditionally-made Rajasthani tents to the US, when she began importing them from India with her Pavillion Tent Company.  Handmade in the same way as they were during the Mughal Empire, her Pavillion tents range in style and size, and can accommodate from four to sixty people, depending upon what you choose. I love their exotic flair, tassels and curved canopies, and the color and pattern they bring to an outdoor or indoor setting. They add a bit of bohemian wanderlust to the garden, or any place you want to entertain with style. Below, a few shapes and sizes that caught my eye.

This might just be better than a hammock, since it provides shade too.

A rounded Pergola tent looks just beautiful in a clearing surrounded by trees. Muslin panels can be tied back or put down if bugs come out

I love this tent! Window cut-outs and enclosed sides really provide atmosphere to this outdoor room

The Maharaja tent can fit 100 for drinks or 60 for a seated dinner. This seems like a good option, for when rain is not in the projected forecast.

The Raj tent can sit 20 and fit 40 for cocktails
