OTHER ROOMS: NICK OLSEN STYLES SHOPPABLE ROOMS FOR CURATED BY KRAVET

One of my favorite color confident designers on the scene today is Nick Olsen. He knows his way around a color wheel and an auction house, and has established himself as one of the great colorists of today. Since 2010, his joie de vivre, glam factor (a lifelong Madonna fan) and ability to reinvent the classics have set his lively design apart, and make him a good choice to decorate interior spaces for Kravet's new shoppable website, Curated. Selecting his favorite mix, Nick pulled together 3 room settings where everything you see is available for purchase. Just log into the to the trade site and see a world of designer curated choices. Going bold with pattern and color his edited assortment will bring levity and fun to where you live.

The Carmen Sofa, a three seater with a trad arm as featured in the Mix Master room he designed

A gently sloping back on the Castille Side Chair makes it good for dining and as a pull-up chair in a seating arrangement

Splashy and abstract, the Stella print ties Nick's vibrant color scheme together perfectly

Animal print, has, in a way, become a new neutral. Used sparingly, in a hide rug, Zebra pattern can play well with other prints

Sculptural and reed thin, the Thompson Floor Lamp looks like a Giacometti original dressed up in a sexy glossy black shade

Fresh citron yellow and fuchsia make for a pretty powerful color scheme in "Colorful Conversation"

Round tables make for easy conversation as far as dining tables go. The elaborate pedestal on the Grand Pedestal Dining Table in Ebony finish has a striking silhouette.

There is classic English tufting on the seat and back of the Etude Armchair, for when traditional ties it together

Pairing blue lacquer and silver leaf, the shapely Gustav Mirror

Zingy yellow gives this x-base mirror-topped table an eye-catching allure

Accessories are that final touch that make an interior come together. The natural world inspires all sorts of design right now, so this bright blue resin box that looks like agate is a good find.
