THE CAN'T- MISS SALE: FEATURING CHELSEA TEXTILES, HOLLAND AND SHERRY, VAUGHAN AND TREILLAGE

If you are in the market for beautiful furniture, accessories, textiles and pillows, then head to St. Ignatius Loyola Church's Wallace Hall from November 6-8th, when it is home to the epic Chelsea Textiles Sale. This sale, a big annual event in London, is finally coming stateside, with products ranging from Chelsea Textiles and Chelsea Editions furniture, pillows and fabrics, a wide assortment from Bunny Williams' Treillage, Vaughan lighting, Holland and Sherry textiles and accessories, and unique textiles and carpets from Christine Van Der Hurd. When this many stylish quality companies get together, there is sure to be something for everyone, from throw pillows to furniture, and enough great finds to do a major decor refresh.  In anticipation of the sale, Chelsea Textiles asked me to design their 59th Street-facing window, where I worked with a  blue and white color scheme of sale pieces, seen below.  Perhaps it will inspire you to start thinking about what you might want to take home from the sale?

I designed a window around pale blue and white, a classic Chelsea Textiles palette. I included two of their charming Gustavian furniture pieces, a chair and nightstand, and scattered their charming little lavender sachets, which make great gifts,  along the inside of the window.  Since I live nearby, it is a treat to walk by and see the window on a daily basis.

From Treillage, a four door armoire, one of the larger pieces from the destination home shop owned by Bunny Williams and John Rosselli

A classic plaid pillow from Holland and Sherry, known for their haberdashery textiles

A ceramic gourd lamp from Vaughan, just one of the many lighting options they will have
