LIGHT IT UP! A FIRE PIT AS A COLORFUL OUTDOOR URN

When you are considering ways to light the night sky around your pool or outdoor spaces, most of the fire pits you may see on the market tend to be oddly shaped and unusually rustic looking. For this very reason, I was drawn to these colorful, trimmed Vesta vessels designed by California-based landscape architect Katharine Webster exclusively for Neiman Marcus. Even when not in use, these Mediterranean-inspired urns look great, concealed under their own bell-shaped, finial festooned lid. Taking their cue from Moroccan tagines and outdoor-living of Greece, these painted orange and blue poly-resin pieces run on chafing fuel canisters, so you can light up the night in these final days of summer.

Even when you aren't using it, the urns will look beautiful flanking an entrance or corners of a pool
