CARE FOR A CANAPE? WHIMSICAL PLATES FROM LUKE EDWARD HALL
I have covered the designer/stylist and illustrator Luke Edward Hall and his wonderful sketches before (here), so I was so pleased to be able to share his just-launched charming plates. Adorned with hand-drawn objects filled with a joie de vivre, his artistic sensibility goes beyond the embroidered pillows he has designed with classical motifs, and framed prints of urns of flowers. Taking on tabletop, this small assortment of white bone china plates made in Stoke- on- Trent, feature a whimsical loosely drawn prawn to a dog and has a sweet sensibility and that surefire Brit charm. I love the pop of the charcoal drawing against the white ground. Available through his website, you will be impressed by his myriad talents on display there.
