In the hopes of streamlining the interior design process, Kravet has unveiled a new shoppable platform called Curated, exclusively to designers.  Debuting with over 650 items and more to come, the assortment of furniture, art, accessories, lighting and bedding will grow to include 1500 products. A ready-to-ship upholstery program kicks off with 15 of Kravet's best-selling frames, rounding out the essentials of a room.  With three ways to search and shop, choose from product category, story or designer-curated rooms. I find the last concept one of the most interesting-- pre-edited shoppable designer-created room settings.  Options are arranged in stylish room vignettes, taking on the aesthetic of the noted designer. At launch, Curated debuted with spaces created by Alexa Hampton, and will follow with additional curations from the colorific Nick Olsen, happy-chic Jonathan Adler, understated Barbara Barry, ever-busy Nate Berkus, Mr. Fun, Thom Filicia and beach-loving Jeffrey Alan Marks. Given their stable of design partner talent, I wonder if we can expect to see Lee Jofa designers joining the mix in the future?

As a new destination, the site incorporates a well-rounded vision for the Kravet brand, and I look forward to seeing the site and its content evolve, showcasing products along with a wide array of edited accessories.  Once designers register, they can get to work. Much of the product assortment is ready to ship, with the goal of making interior designers lives easier. The lure of digital shopping and (almost) instant gratification is hard to deny. Click on over.

I can't resist a great tray. I think I've found it. This purple stringray tray with natural horn sides is a stunner.
