WHAT A SWELL PARTY IT WAS WITH THE NEW TRADITIONALISTS

Last night, I had the great pleasure of creating a bar out of one of the furniture pieces from The New Traditionalists. I was joined by the wonderfully creative Brady Wilcox and tequila purveyors Milagro, and we had a terrific time. With over 130 guests in attendance, the event was a hit, and the delicious cocktails were a terrific way to usher in the fall.

The stylish New Traditionalists showroom in Soho is divided by teak wood partitions, and showcases their range of updated furniture in fresh finishes and colors.

With gratitude Elizabeth Blitzer, Becky Birdwell with Mrs. John L Strong, Eduardo Garza and all the New Trads.

The "Bibliophile's Desk" I created working with their Number Two Eleven Desk

I created this desk for a woman who knows her interior design, having just finished a book on the subject. She loves to entertain at home and go out on the town, and appreciates the lost art of letter writing, owning a full stationery wardrobe from Mrs Strong. Her thank you notes are legendary and always done on time (!).

She likes a good scotch every now and again

She surrounds herself with her favorite books for instant inspiration

I so enjoyed catching up with Philip Erdoes, the mastermind behind Ducduc and The New Traditionalists

They had a master mixologist Jason Roman of Embury Cocktails on hand for savory drinks

Milagro Tequila made the signature potent drinks with raspberry puree
